Who We Are

At RoomItAll, our mission is to foster meaningful connections between people through shared spaces, helping everyone feel at home wherever they are. We aim to create a world where anyone can feel like they belong, anywhere.

We are a community built on trust, and a key part of earning that trust is being transparent about how we use your information and how we protect your right to privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how RoomItAll.com (“we,” “us,” or “RoomItAll”) collects, uses, and safeguards your personal information when you use our platform. Depending on where you live and how you interact with our services, additional privacy notices or regional terms may apply.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy in full to understand how your data is handled and to make informed choices about your privacy.

Who Controls My Personal Information

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from uploaded images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you don’t have to fill in your details again later. These cookies will last for one year.

When you visit our login page, a temporary cookie is set to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, several cookies are saved: login cookies (2 days), screen options (1 year), and if “Remember Me” is selected, login persists for 2 weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.

Editing or publishing an article sets another cookie in your browser, which includes the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after 1 day and contains no personal data.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles may include embedded content (videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves the same as if the visitor has visited that website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the content if you have an account and are logged in to that site.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are retained indefinitely for automatic follow-up approval.

For registered users, personal information is stored in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their data (except their username). Site admins can also view and edit this information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your personal data. You can also request erasure of your personal data. This excludes data we must keep for legal or security reasons.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
